Litfun makes shoes for the part of the day nobody photographs: the first ten minutes on a cold floor, the hour at the kitchen counter, the trip to the bin in January, the walk from the pool to the changing room. The bench runs to 37 lasts in 150 colours, from plush memory foam slippers to cork footbed sandals.
The studio sits in Burlington, and the team wears every pair on three floors before it reaches the site: a rug, a kitchen tile and the concrete step outside the door. We argue about the bed and the sole. A footbed that flattens in a fortnight loses the argument, and so does a sole that goes hard in the cold.
A page per shape with filters for who it is for, colour, size and what the foot needs. A page per pair that names the upper, the footbed, the sole and the closure, and every size of that colour with its own figure. Three long reads on the things the label leaves out.
Orthopedic, non-slip, quick-dry and machine washable are the maker's words, and the pages print them as given. The black button takes you to our retail partner for the checkout, and they handle the delivery and any return.
The Litfun studio is at 119 College St, Suite 4, Burlington, VT 05401. Write to customer@litfun.org about a size row that reads wrong or a colour that has gone missing.
